"MAHSA University’s Bachelor of Environmental Health and Safety (Hons) is a 4-year undergraduate degree programme that prepares students for a career in the management of health and safety in the environment, which encompasses a variety of situations and substances, including pollution, temperature changes and waste disposal. In an age of global climatic upheaval, the ability to improve the health and safety of the community in particular and the world in general has become a highly desired qualification.
Students will study a diverse range of exciting subjects such as the environment and how it influences human health and the spread of disease; the use of safety equipment in environmental monitoring; industrial, commercial and housing development; water supply and safety; food production and safety; occupational health and safety; air, water, soil, radiation and noise pollution; disease control; health surveillance and research; health improvement and community development; waste management; pest control; accident and disaster control; transport safety; risk management; adherence to environmental laws and regulations; and public relations."
- IELTS 5.5
- TOEFL 550 paper based or equivalent
- Pre-University or equivalent qualification with minimum GPA 2.33
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent accepted by the University’s Senate; or CGPA less than 2.50 can be accepted with minimum 5 years working experience in the relevant field.
