Aimed at rapid professional insertion, our Msc also develops the professional and personal knowledge and skills necessary for a career in the energy, financial energy, renewable energy and broader environmental markets.
The energy transition challenge creates a strong demand from graduates and employees having gained the skills required for a changing and increasingly agile and complex energy industry. Our MSc in Energy and Environmental Finance is a 10-month program preparing students to become agents of this revolution in the energy industry and/or participate into energy entrepreneurial ventures. MBS offers students a true multi-cultural and international experience in our campus based in Montpellier, South of France.
To address the challenges, our Msc provides with a rare opportunity by bridging relevant and non-overly technical aspects of energy management, energy transition economics, environmental finance and commodities, finance and ethics. TOEFL 80 / IELTS 6.0
Montpellier Business School English Test (free). Students can choose to take this test during the application.
International admission assessment is required for candidates who hold a foreign degree or an equivalent qualification. The International admission assessment is open to candidates who have previously studied in a non-French educational institution, regardless of their nationality.
Depending on the education level, you can integrate into the bachelor's program as follows:
- Admission in the first year is open to holders of a high school degree equivalent to the French baccalaureate, ex
high school diploma;
- Admission in the second year is open to holders of 60 ECTS credits or one year of higher education, or another qualification considered equivalent;
- Third year (one year) admission for holders of 120 ECTS credits, two years of higher education and IELTS minimum 6/9 (with 6/9 in each sub-test)
The L1 and L2 years are taught in French and English. Non-French-speaking candidates who wish to attend courses in French are required to have at least a B2 certificate of French as a Foreign Language on the scale of the European Council. Candidates who wish to take the courses in English must have a B2 level in English or a minimum IELTS score of 5.5/9.
The L3 year is taught in English. L3 candidates must provide an IELTS score of at least 6/9 or a TOEFL with a minimum score of 80/120.

Fees and funding
For five years, under the guidance of the Fondation de France, Montpellier Business School Foundation has been leading initiatives for deserving students from France and developing countries and supporting the School’s young graduates in their business start-up projects.
This is done by offering merit-based scholarships, international scholarships and business start-up scholarships.
The Foundation also funds hosting internationally renowned teacher-researchers for conferences and specialized seminars.
