What Stenberg College says about their program:
"Early Childhood Educators (ECE) teach children during their formative years, from birth to age five. They develop and implement educational programs that stimulate children’s intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth.
Our ECE Basic certificate is 58 weeks and includes eight weeks of practicum experience. Graduates are prepared to support the learning and development of children between the ages of three and five. After only two months in the program, you will receive your ECE Assistant License and be able to work part-time as an ECE Assistant.
There is an overwhelming demand for qualified Early Childhood Educators in Canada. 100% of our ECE graduates are employed in the field within six months of program completion, and many are hired directly out of practicum. Most start their career working as ECE Assistants during the program.
You will have the option to add a 23-week paid co-op to your program. "
Please see below the admissions requirements in order to study at Stenberg College.

In August, we face the difficult challenge of selecting one finalist from each program. Each program finalist will be interviewed, and from this group, one winner, a first runner-up, and a second runner-up will be selected.
The Student of the Year winner receives a full tuition reimbursement (up to CA$20,000), the first runner-up receives a CA$5,000 tuition reimbursement, and the second runner-up receives a CA$2,500 tuition reimbursement. All other program finalists receive a CA$1,000 tuition reimbursement.
