"If you want to be a dental hygienist and therapist, this BSc (Hons) Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy degree course gives you the theory and practical skills to become a vital member of the dental team.
In our Dental Academy, you’ll develop skills that allow you to complete treatments on patients, such as fillings, radiographs and impressions. You’ll study and develop your skills alongside other members of the dental team.
After you complete the course, you’ll be able to register with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist and embark on a career treating patients in locations such as dental practices and in community dental services."

Eligible students will be able to receive the Vice Chancellor's Global Development Scholarship. This scholarship will take the form of a £1,600 fee reduction that will apply to your first year of study.
This scholarship is merit-based for January 2024 entry onwards, eligible applicants can be considered for the Chancellor's Global Academic Merit Scholarship. This scholarship will take the form of a £3,000 fee reduction that will apply to your first year of study.
