"Our specialisms include VR, AR and MR, IoTs, mobile technology, gamification and serious games, user experiences and user interface development.
Postgraduate researchers studying in the areas of Creative Computing and Technology; Technical and Applied Computing and Engineering Technologies will be able to draw on expertise within the school across a wide area. There is a strong applied research focus in the School and particular interests in work that engages with the concerns of the user, the needs of businesses and the rapid developments within the IT industry and engineering sectors. We may also be able to offer you effective supervision for cross-disciplinary projects that link to business management. As a research degree candidate, you will be supported by a supervisory team with expertise in your subject and/or research approach. A research degree will open the door to work in full-time research or teaching, or provide a greater understanding of professional practice."

UG/PG IETLS 6.0 (no band below 5.5) Journalism and Nursing require an IELTS 7.0
Undergraduate (Bachelors) Successful completion of a University or Polytechnic Diploma lower credit or Completion of a recognised foundation course
Postgraduate (Masters) Bachelors degree with a minimum of a second class.

The University of Gloucestershire can offer a range of funding awards for international students.
Students will be automatically considered for the merit scholarship upon receiving an offer for the above courses and will be notified by the admissions team if successful.
Merit Scholarship (50% off first year tuition fees) for MBA, Master of Finance, master's of Accounting & Finance, BA Graphic Design, MA Landscape Architecture, MA Film Making.
Other awards (given automatically):
- £2,000 (students from Canada, China, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, UK, USA)
- £4,000 (students from Africa, Vietnam and Latin America)
