Program Overview

What the University of Hartford says about their program:
"The pre-professional Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering Technology is a rigorous academic program that prepares students for a variety of professional careers in architecture and the construction industry. The focus of the program is the design studio in which the technical, structural and liberal arts courses are integrated through the creative process in the design of progressively more complex architectural projects. A strong component of general education, with particular emphasis on communication skills, as well as multiple electives in the later years, ensures that students who pursue this program of study will have a challenging architectural education and a broad understanding of the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue advanced degrees in architecture and related disciplines or entry into architecture or the building industries. While the career objectives of graduates vary greatly depending on their concentration of electives, all involve interaction with other professions in design and construction."
