Entry requirements

Undergraduate

  • International Baccalaureate (IB) with successful completion of a minimum of 24 points.
  • Cambridge International Examination - a minimum of 120 points on the UCAS Tariff* at A or AS level from any subjects which are broadly equivalent to the subjects in the NCEA approved subject list.
  • General Certificate of Education (GCE) with three A-levels including at least one C grade or better. A result in General Studies cannot be included among the 3 on which the application is based.
  • A minimum of CCC scores (7 points) across the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) Acceptance of the NCUK English for Academic Purposes qualification as an alternative to meeting the English-language requirements, with a minimum of a C grade overall and no less than D grade in each component.

Graduate

Minimum entry requirements are a successfully completed bachelor’s degree in the same area of study from a recognized university and a recognized English language test that meets the language requirements.

You may also be required to provide evidence of relevant work/research experience.

New Zealand AUT-NCUK Excellence Scholarship

This scholarship is exclusive to high achieving international students enrolled in the NCUK New Zealand Global Education Pathway programs, who wish to study at Auckland University of Technology (AUT).

New Zealand Scholarships Program - Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade New Zealand (MFAT)

The scholarships are made available to enable international students to study in New Zealand. Citizens from selected developing countries intending to undertake tertiary level study in New Zealand can apply for these scholarships to study at AUT.

The purpose of MFAT’s scholarship schemes is to enhance the skills, training, and knowledge of selected individuals and thereby build capacity to contribute to the sustainable development of key areas in their home country.
