    Postgraduate academic requirements

    • Bachelor's degree with honours and a good passing grade from an internationally recognised university or Higher Education institution
    • Other international qualifications to an equivalent standard will also be considered.

    English proficiency

    Undergraduate

    • IELTS: 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in each band. We will accept IELTS Online (Academic).
    • TOEFL iBT: with 92 overall with a minimum score of 19 in writing, listening, and reading and 20 in speaking. Please note the home version of this test is not accepted.
    • PTE Academic: with 62 overall and at least 51 in each section.
    • ESOL SELT B2 Communicator: with 38 in each section (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).
    • Cambridge C1 Advanced English exam: with a minimum grade of C.
    • Cambridge C2 Proficiency English exam: with a minimum grade of C.
    • Trinity College London Integrated Skills in English (ISE): Level III or Level IV with a pass.

    Postgraduate

    Arts University Bournemouth keeps its fees at the lowest possible levels and has a thorough quality assurance procedure to ensure a high standard of teaching and resources for students on all courses.

    Funding

    International Vice Chancellor Scholarship Vice Chancellor Scholarships are awarded by the Vice Chancellor that recognise and support creative talent within the global student community.

    International Progression Bursary Progression Bursaries are available for all students who have completed either our Foundation course or an undergraduate program and wish to progress onto an Undergraduate or postgraduate program.

    • Amount Graduate: £5,000

    International Institution and School Partnership Bursary Partnership Bursaries are available to all students who have studied at an AUB global partner university, school or other institution and wish to progress onto a foundation diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate program.

    • Amount Graduate: £5,000

    International Mature Student Bursary Mature Student Bursaries are for all students who are at least 25 years of age and wish to join a foundation diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate program.

    Early Payment Fee Waiver

    • Early payment fee waivers are available to all students for every year of their studies who are not awarded an AUB bursary or scholarship.
    • All full-time pre-degree, bachelor's and master's students who pay annual fees in full by 1st August receive a 10% tuition fee discount.
