"The University of Wyoming's Chemistry Department offers graduate degrees for students who desire to expand their knowledge beyond the 4 year Bachelor level.Our Ph.D. program is a research degree in advanced chemistry that prepares our students for careers in academia or as leaders in industry.A Master's degree is not required; students may enter directly into the Ph.D. program."

    71 iBT/80 iBT for Engineering students

  • Minimum IELTS

    6.0/6.5 for Engineering students

  • Nursing students Minimum TOEFL

    90 iBT with minimum skill scores of 21 Reading, 21 Listening, 25 Speaking, 23 Writing / 51 Duolingo

Undergraduate admissions

For admission to a program at the University, undergraduates will need to do the following:

  • Provide certified and attested copy of transcripts. Required academic records (mark sheets, transcripts, exam results, certificates, diploma, etc.) must be original or certified true copies sent by the school in a sealed envelope. All records should be submitted in the native language and accompanied with an official English translation.
  • Provide proof of financial support; official bank statement.
  • Copy of your Passport.

Fees and funding

All scholarships are based on the student's academic achievements at the time of admission to UW.

The ISS office also awards over $60,000 in scholarships to eligible international students who are currently attending UW.

The Rocky Mountain Scholars Award

This provides up to $5,500 in annual scholarship support to new incoming international freshmen. Scholarship support is determined based on the student's cumulative high school GPA.
