Students in the program gain important problem-solving skills for the 21st century. Graduates may also pursue advanced degrees in medicine, law, business, education, and research-based Master of Science and PhD programs.

Chemical Biology
Chemical biology, at the interface of chemistry and biology, is a rapidly growing interdisciplinary area in science. Through the synthesis and use of small molecules, probes, or chemically‑modified biological macromolecules, chemistry is applied to help answer questions of biological importance.
Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Pharmaceutical Chemistry combines the study of drug discovery and development, pharmacology, analytical techniques, and drug chemistry. The chemical design process and evaluation of potential future medications will be a prime focus.
Science and Management
If you are interested in managerial and leadership roles, consider applying for the five-year Bachelor of Science and Management (Honours) program in your upper years of study. Graduates gain a solid foundation in the key functional areas of business and management, including finance, accounting, operations, project management and marketing.
There is a wealth of opportunities for science graduates in industry, government, and in areas of applied science. The combination of a science degree and business and management education will give an added advantage to graduates in establishing careers within these practical fields"

- Cambridge English - Advanced
Minimum score of 180 with no band lower than 170.
- Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL)
Minimum score of 70 with no sub-score below 60.
- Duolingo English Test (DET)*
Minimum score of 110 (Education and Nursing programs require a total score of 120).
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
Overall score of 6.5 with no sub-score less than 6.0 (Education and Nursing programs require an overall score of 7.0).
- Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB)
Minimum score of 85.
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic
Minimum score of 58.
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
Internet-based test (iBT) with a total score of 83 (Education and Nursing programs require a total score of 87), and minimum scaled scores of Listening
International applicants must provide proof of:
- High school graduation (often stated directly on one’s final high school transcript).
- English proficiency.
- Having attained the academic subject prerequisites required for the program to which they are applying. These are typically secondary school senior-level courses of sufficient scope and dept

Global Leadership Award
If you are an international secondary-school student entering an undergraduate program at the university on a study permit and are currently studying outside of Canada, you can apply for the university's Global Leadership Award (GLA).
The GLA is one of our most prestigious entrance awards. Valued at $72,000 ($18,000 a year X four years), the GLA recognizes international secondary school applicants with strong academic and leadership abilities.
In Course Scholarships
If you have achieved a minimum 3.7 GPA (on a 4.3 scale) during the previous year and you are returning to full-time study, you will be automatically awarded a scholarship and notified through your student email account.
$2,000 - 4.0+ GPA $1,500 - 3.7 - 3.99 GPA These scholarships may be increased to $3,000 and $4,000 through generous contributions from our donors.
Please note: In-course scholarships are available for up to three years of your first undergraduate degree. To be considered, you must have been enrolled in a minimum of 80 percent course load during your previous academic year.
