Undergraduate academic requirements

  • For the Foundation Certificate courses, typical entry requirements are at least 11 years of education, or equivalent.
  • For International Year One courses, typical entry requirements are at least 12 years of education, or equivalent.

English proficiency

Undergraduate

  • UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent: 5.0 (at least 4.0 in all skills)

Postgraduate

  • UKVI IELTS: 5.5 (minimum of 5.0 in all skills).

Please note: If you do not meet the English language entry level but have at least UKVI IELTS 4.0 in all skills, you can do a course that includes extended English and skills (EES).

  • Copies of your passport and any previous UK visas 
  • UKVI-approved Secure English Language Test (SELT) certificate or accepted equivalent 
  • Academic transcripts (plus certified translations if the original transcripts are not in English) 

Fees and funding

Fee information

  • Foundation Certificate courses: From £14,990 to £17,300 per program
  • International Year One: from £15,300 to £16,170 per program
  • Pre-Masters: £16,220 per program

Funding

Distinction Scholarship

  • Students must achieve 70% in their pathway course
  • Amount: £1,000 for each year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree

Early Payment Scholarship

  • Students must successfully complete their pathway course and pay their university degree fees by the deadline
  • Amount: £500 for one year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree

Foundation to International Year One Progression Scholarship

  • Offered to students of the Foundation Certificate course. Students must achieve an attendance of 90% or above for a £500 discount, and attendance of 95% or above to be eligible for a £750 discount.
  • Amount: £500 or £750 for an International Year One course
