What Coquitlam College says about their program:
"Associate of Arts Degree students who are studying full–time are eligible to work up to 40 hours per week. Upon completion of the degree, full–time students are eligible to apply for a Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP). After completing the first year of full–time work, graduates are eligible to apply for permanent residency. Some universities give priority admission to Associate Degree holders. Associate of Arts Degree full-time students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents may be eligible for financial assistance.   • A vocational/technical/polytechnic diploma with a 60% or higher average, or
  • Mature student status

English requirements

  • IELTS: 6.5 (Writing band 6.5, Reading band 6.5)
  • TOEFL: 86
  • CAEL: 60
  • PTE: 60
  • Duolingo: 105

English proficiency waivers

  • Student's native language is English
  • If you do not have any of the previous scores, you may be required to write the Coquitlam College English Proficiency Test for University Transfer/Associate Degree placement
