  • Duolingo English Test (DET). A minimum score of 100 Is required for full admission. Please note that many majors require a minimum score of 105.
  • Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). A minimum Reading score of 26 is required for full admission. Please note that many majors require a minimum Reading score of 30,
  • American College Testing (ACT). A minimum English score of 21 is required for full admission. Please note that many majors require a minimum English score of 24.

Graduate

Applications for admission to the University of Dayton are reviewed for specific academic majors or, when applicable, for undeclared status in an academic division. The admission committee reviews grade record and pattern throughout high school, selection of courses in preparation for college, class standing or ranking (if provided by the high school) and ACT or SAT scores. The admission committee also considers the recommendation of a high school guidance counselor, along with other factors.
