"Build the knowledge and skills to achieve personal development and/or prepare for certain professional areas that require a master’s degree. The online master’s in adult continuing education library media option has the same content and outcomes as in the MEd in Library Media certification program, but is designed for students who do not hold a teaching certificate."

Admissions requirements

Please note: If it is deemed that an international student is unable to take one of the above tests in their home country, the student will be required to take a placement test at UWA upon arrival to campus, provided that all other entrance requirements have been met.

English Proficiency Tests

UWA accept seven different types of international recognized standardized tests for English proficiency: TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC*, Cambridge, GETC-CBT (Japan), PTE and ISE. Official test reports need to be mailed to UWA. *TOEIC is only available under prearranged agreements.


In addition to your application, you need to send a copy of your transcripts from your high school and each university or college you have attended. You can email your transcript in PDF form to [email protected] If you are accepted, all official transcripts need to be sent from each individual institutions directly to the University by mail.

Evaluation Reports

Freshmen foreign high schools are evaluated in-house at UWA, however, any foreign high school certificates and transcripts may need to be evaluated by a service affiliated with the National Association of Credit Evaluation Services (NACES).


Transcripts When you arrive on campus, you will need to submit a transcript to the Office of Admissions from each university you’ve attended. You must be in good standing and eligible to return to the last institution attended. We also require that you have your official transcripts evaluated by an outside evaluation service if the official transcript is not in English. It will need to be course by course evaluation. You can email an unofficial college transcript in PDF form from each university attended to [email protected]

Evaluation Foreign College transcripts are required to be evaluated directly from an evaluation service affiliated with the National Association of Credit Evaluation Services (NACES).
