Study abroad at Moscow Aviation Institute

Founded in 1930, Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) is the oldest aeronautical engineering university in Russia. Based in the country’s capital city, the University arms students with the tools needed to launch a career in the aerospace industry.

MAI offers several undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs in areas like aircraft engineering, spacecraft engineering, and propulsion engineering. Courses are taught in either English or Russian by the University’s exceptional faculty.

The University has it’s very own technopark, complete with over 140 state-of-the-art laboratories, as well as flight simulators, a mission control center, and even a private airfield. The world-class facilities continue with MAI’s outstanding housing options and sports complexes.

Beyond the classroom, the University organizes several fun events, including humor contests, team-building activities, and festive galas. With over 50 sports clubs on campus too, you’ll be sure to find the team that’s right for you.
