Lincoln is a quaint rural town on New Zealand’s South Island. With a population of just over 8,000 people, the town offers international students a quiet and welcoming community in which to live and learn.

The town is home to Lincoln University, one of New Zealand’s oldest and most prestigious universities. This makes Lincoln a vibrant college town, with a large and active student population.

International students will find plenty to do in Lincoln. There are a range of shops, restaurants, and bars you can visit, as well as museums and a boutique cinema. Lincoln is also where you’ll find the New Zealand Cricket High Performance Center, which boasts three cricket grounds.

For those that want to sample one of New Zealand’s major cities, Christchurch is only a short 20-minute drive away. From there you can experience and enjoy all the attractions of a big city, including Christchurch Airport which offers flights to the rest of New Zealand, Australia, and parts of Asia.
