Life as an international student

The University’s helpful staff go above and beyond to help international students settle into University life. There’s always someone by your side to assist you with anything you need whether it’s a minor admin query, or a complex visa one - no problem is too big or small.

Accommodation is available to find near Tio’s campuses thanks to a number of student housing providers. The University can provide you with useful guidance and resources to help you find the right home for you.

All non-EU students are offered housing, which is included the package fee for the first year. This also includes the full visa application process, insurance, and a deposit. Non-EU students are expected to find housing themselves at the end of the first year, but in this way they are saved from finding housing from far away before starting their studies.

Tio Super Talent Scholarship The amount of this scholarship is €10,450 per full-degree student. The scholarship is awarded for one academic year. It is possible to apply for this scholarship every year. You are eligible if you meet the following criteria:

You must have outstanding study results
You must have an IELTS Academic score of 7.0 or higher, a TOEFL iBT score of 100 or higher, Cambridge exam of CAE-A or higher, or CEFR C1 level or higher

Tio Talent Scholarship The amount of this scholarship is €5,225 per full-degree student. The scholarship is awarded for one academic year. It is possible to apply for this scholarship every year. You are eligible if you meet the following criteria:

You must have above-average study results
You must have an IELTS Academic score of 6.5 or higher, TOEFL iBT score of 90 or higher, Cambridge exam of CAE-B or higher or CEFR C1 level or higher
