New international students are each given a VGTU student mentor, which is a student volunteer. The mentor can help you integrate into student life at VGTU and will offer you information such as directions, practical advice, and support.
Students are encouraged to develop talents and skills whilst studying at the University. There are several clubs for students to join, many with a strong arts focus — the most prominent being the theater, orchestra, choir, and dance clubs. There is also a focus on sports with VGTU athletes participating in inter-university, national, European, and even world competitions.
