Study abroad at Macromedia University of Applied Sciences
The Macromedia University of Applied Sciences is a private international university with campuses across Germany, including Munich, Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin. It is one of the largest German universities for programs in areas such as media management, design, arts, music and business management.
The University boasts around 100 professors and more than 3,500 students from 80 different countries. It offers two English-language Bachelor of Honors programs in partnership with the University of Westminster.
Students are taught by professors from the start of the first semester, and the university regularly hosts personalities from the world of media, politics and business who give talks and can also work with the students in workshops and forums.

Life as an international student

Fees and funding
The Macromedia University scholarship program offers a few partial scholarships to support talented applicants to finance their programs. The criteria for inclusion in the program are grades at school and/or university and voluntary work for social causes.
This is because Macromedia University aspires not just to train its students on a professional level, but also to qualify and support them with regard to their personal development.
Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarships
Macromedia Scholarship (Need-Based Scholarship):
- Amount: Grant that covers between 10 and 50% of tuition fees
- Requirements: You need to have good grades and/or are especially talented and socially engaged. The Macromedia Scholarship is aimed at students in difficult financial situations.
Excellence Scholarship (Merit-Based Scholarship):
- Amount: Scholarship that covers between 10 and 50% of tuition fees
- Requirements: Grades average at least 1.5 and personally dedicated. The scholarship is initially awarded for one year and can be extended.
- Undergraduate tuition: €10,600 per year
- Graduate tuition: from €10,600 to €13,000 per year
Graduate tuition may differ depending on the term.
