Life as an international student

Jacobs attracts students from all over the world, with more than 1,500 students from over 120 countries currently living on its residential campus. The University can offer a wide range of student services for international students.

From the time of arrival in Bremen to the time of departure, study abroad students will be looked after by experienced members of staff, including assigned mentors and office teams. International students are guaranteed accommodation on campus at Jacobs University.

On campus, students live in their own furnished room in a comfortable two-bedroom apartment. Modern recreational facilities including a fitness center and indoor rowing tank, dance rooms, the campus Interfaith House, cinema, music lab, and theater are all in walking distance.

Jacobs University believes that everyone has the right to a good education – and this is the principle they live by at Jacobs University. Jacobs offers students a personalized financial aid package to finance their studies, consisting of scholarships and deferral options, for example.

Foundation Year

28,000 Euro per academic year (incl. room and board) (no financial aid available)

Undergraduate Tuition:

€ 20,000 per academic year. Room & Board* € 8,000 per academic year

Graduate Tuition

You only start repaying the deferred tuition fees once you successfully entered the job market. That way you can focus completely on your studies.
