The University of Oulu is an international science university founded in 1958, in the Finnish city of Oulu. The student body is 13,000 students across eight faculties and specialized research units. The University has two campuses: the Kontinkangas campus in Oulu consists of the faculties of medicine, and biochemistry and molecular medicine, as well as being home to Oulu University Hospital.
The main campus in Linnanmaa is a large complex housing technology, science, humanities, education, information technology and electrical engineering, Oulu Business School and Oulu School of Architecture, as well as the major lecture halls, restaurants, and other services. The main campus has residential buildings for thousands of students, as well as a chapel and sports hall.

Students of the University of Oulu are encouraged to have active lives, both on the campus and off-campus. Students have access to clubs and organizations, and many different type of leisure activities.
The students’ union is just one way students can be active members of the University of Oulu and have a say in how the University supports students. You’ll also be issued a student ID card which gets you things like inexpensive meals in the student cafeterias around campus.

The University of Oulu International Master's Scholarship Scheme (IM Scholarship) provides scholarships to academically talented international students studying for a master's degree in the University of Oulu two-year International Master's programs.
Master programs - €10,000 - 13,000 / year
University of Oulu International Scholarship Scheme
Business programs: Tuition waiver fee 50% (Economics, Finance, Financial and Management Accounting, International Business Management and Marketing)
Business Analytics: Students pay full tuition in Year 1. In Year 2, students receive 100% tuition scholarship.
All other programs: Tuition waiver fee 75%
Applicants can apply for the tuition scholarship as part of the admissions process. University of Oulu Scholarships do not cover living costs.
Applicants are eligible to apply for a University of Oulu Scholarship 2021-2022, if they meet the admissions criteria and are liable to pay the tuition fee. The scholarship application will be processed only if the applicant meets the admissions criteria. University of Oulu Scholarship can be received only once.
