At the heart of our program is a commitment to appreciating wine as a global phenomenon and exploring the diverse environments, traditions, and techniques of winemaking across different cultures. We dive into the science of viticulture and enology, as well as the business and regulatory environments that shape the wine industry worldwide.
CWU is located in the heart of a major wine-producing region, the Yakima Valley and greater Seattle area. This means you have unique opportunities for real-world experiences. Field trips, internships, and interactions with industry professionals are integral parts of our program, providing opportunities for you to engage directly with the global wine industry.
