Subject modules will feature core elements of performance and event management, as well as the roles, responsibilities and processes which connect them. You’ll learn the key skills and strategies to effectively create, plan and produce your own event as well as developing your performance, technique, arranging and musicianship. You will evaluate international tours and large-scale music festivals, whilst also exploring the growing issue of sustainability. You will also leave the course highly skilled in the digital world, with in-depth learning of social media and digital marketing. Admission requirements

Undergraduate academic requirements

  • At BIMM Institute, most of our undergraduate performance degree courses require a minimum of 32 UCAS points or two A-Levels or equivalent
  • Non-performance degree courses require a minimum of 64 UCAS points or two A-Levels at grade C or equivalent
  • We accept other qualifications such as BTEC, International Baccalaureate Diplomas and Certificates and European Baccalaureate which are equivalent to UCAS tariff points.

Postgraduate academic requirements

For Postgraduate courses, we usually require a bachelor degree with a 2:2 or equivalent grade.

English proficiency

Undergraduate programs:

  • IELTS

    Min. 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in each element

  • TOEFL (iBT)

    Min. 72 overall with 18 in Reading, 17 in Writing, 17 in Listening and 20 in Speaking

  • PTE Academic

    Min. 50 overall with no less than 42 in each element

  • Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English (CAE)

    170 overall with 165 in each component

  • Trinity ISE 2

    Pass with Merit

Postgraduate programs:

    Min 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in each element

Early Confirmation Scholarship

**Amount:** £2,000 **To be eligible for the early confirmation scholarship, you must:** - Be an overseas applicant ineligible for home fee status - Apply and receive an offer to study at BIMM Institute UK colleges from 2024/25 - Accept your offer - Pay your deposit on or before 15th June - The scholarship will automatically be deducted from your fees when you enrol
