This fully online program provides practical, ready-to-apply knowledge for the unique skill of pairing music to film.

You will learn specific collaboration skills specialized to film projects, such as the craft of reading and understanding the drama in a scene. Coursework includes a thorough understanding of the software used to sync music to visual images, an in-depth study of sample based virtual instruments and their manipulation through Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI), preparation for a scoring/recording session and project completion in a remote work environment.

Funding

The SUU International Student Scholarship Committee considers a number of factors when awarding scholarships including academic merit (GPA), geographic distribution, and financial need. Awardees typically have a 3.0 GPA. International Student Scholarships cannot be combined with other substantial SUU tuition scholarships.
