By taking the social policy pathway, you will gain an in-depth knowledge of policy-making processes and social issues. You will tackle emerging questions about solving inequality, poverty, education and healthcare. You will learn how to use your knowledge and skills to make and influence policy at local, national and global levels. You will analyse the most pressing contemporary social policy issues and gain vital experience in how to respond to and shape the policy agenda.

  • A national secondary education diploma (in a suitable subject) or its equivalent from a recognized institution, lower or upper credit required depending on course applied for

Postgraduate academic requirements

  • Bachelor's degree four or five years in a suitable subject from a recognized university. The majority of courses require a minimum grade of Second Class Honors Lower Division.

These fees cover the cost of your learning experience at LSBU. If you are paying your tuition fees yourself, payment must be made when you enroll onto your program.

London South Bank University welcomes and encourages students from all over the world to study with them. A range of scholarships are on offer for international students and some of the awards outlined below can be combined for greater discounts.

Funding

International Merit Scholarships

  • The International Merit Scholarships offer students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate taught programmes with outstanding academic profiles a fee reduction of £3,000 on each full academic year's tuition fees for those who meet the criteria.

Lawrence Burrows Educational Trust Fund

  • If you’re an LSBU full-time undergraduate student from a West Indian or an Asian background starting in September, you could receive 1 of 10 £3,000 scholarships through the Lawrence Burrows Educational Trust Fund.
