The Healthcare Administration concentration is designed for working professionals employed in the areas of education, childcare, social services, healthcare and business. The curriculum will focus on management systems, decision-making tools, new technologies, financial management, and referral systems as well as current issues in healthcare law and ethics.

Undergraduate academic requirements

  • A foreign upper secondary school-leaving certificate must correspond substantially to the Swiss Maturity Certificate in regards to school subjects, number of hours, and length of schooling.
  • Students that wish to pursue a Dual Degree with our educational partner Tiffin University (TU) shall be subjected to the specific TU admission requirements.

Graduate academic requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree from a university or other higher education institution or an equivalent foreign higher education institution recognized or accredited in the country of origin.

American Institute of Applied Sciences in Switzerland Scholarship Program

  • In order to reward prior academic performance and to support students coming from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds, AUS offers partial scholarships covering up to 20% of Tuition Fees. The scholarships are granted under the condition that the student will be engaged in administrative activities with the institution based on a schedule that does not impact the academic schedule of the student. Should the student not meet this condition, the institution reserves the right to revoke the scholarship for the next academic term.
