Illustration is a competitive design discipline which requires high levels of commitment. Our expert staff will support you in developing professional skills including creative problem-solving, project management, and working to briefs and deadlines. We place high value on imagination and energy, alongside conceptual thinking and idea development, and we will support you in honing your technical skills and knowledge of contemporary trends.

Admission requirements

Undergraduate academic requirements

  • For undergraduate programmes these are expressed as tariff points from the UCAS tariff guide, a satisfactory portfolio of work and any accompanying requirements (e.g. English GCSE at Grade C/Grade 4 or above, specified overall number of GCSE passes)

Postgraduate academic requirements

  • Applicants are normally expected to have an undergraduate degree at 2

    1 or equivalent. However, the strength of your creative practice and other forms of experience will be taken into account.
