The course aims to guide students in developing their own personal creativity and in conveying this effectively through specialist knowledge and technical skills in essential areas such as sketching, trend research, patternmaking, dressmaking, understanding fabrics, and sustainable fashion. You’ll develop a range of collections, learn the correct sales and communication strategies, and acquire business skills, all aimed at creating a professional profile to be able to present to companies and launch a successful career in fashion design. The course gives students opportunity to showcase their creations at the annual end-of-year school fashion show in front of an international audience including industry experts, media and influencers.

Undergraduate academic requirements

  • Completion of Year 12 or high school or equivalent.

Postgraduate academic requirements

  • 3 year undergraduate degree or equivalent

English proficiency

  • English level language certificate is not required.

If a student does not have an English language level certificate, a Skype/Zoom interview can be scheduled instead to determine their level of English.
