What Mercy University says about their program:
Students in the program learn theory and advanced methodologies of literary criticism, while engaging with British, American, and some world literature. Attention is paid both to traditional authors, genres and eras, as well as to literature of diverse cultural and historic traditions. Students will find courses ranging from standards in the field to courses unique to our program and designed by Mercy professors. All courses are taught by Mercy University faculty who are experts in their fields.
The M.A. degree can be earned fully online through Mercy University's virtual Blackboard environment. This allows students from across the country and the globe an accessible and convenient way to learn and to earn the M.A. degree from a fully accredited college.

International Undergraduate Scholarships and Grants International Undergraduate Academic Merit Scholarships are offered to international undergraduate students to encourage academic excellence and student leadership at Mercy College. Scholarships are available to qualified freshmen and transfer students seeking a bachelor’s degree.

International Graduate Scholarships and Grants
Graduate Business Scholarship Program These scholarships will be one-time and will be applied to their tuition bill equally over four consecutive quarters beginning with the first quarter in which the student is enrolled. Applicants to each of the Graduate Business Programs will be automatically considered for one of two scholarship awards when they apply for admission. These applicants will not be required to complete a separate application. The applicants must apply and be accepted to one of the five Graduate Business Programs: MBA, MSOL, MS HRMG, MS in Business Analytics or MS Accounting to be considered for a scholarship.
A one-time annual scholarship of US$6,000
Undergraduate Degree GPA of 3.5 or above from a U.S. college or university that is regionally accredited or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. institution. The GPA used for this purpose will be the GPA the student earned from the institution that conferred their undergraduate degree. In addition, the GPA will not be rounded up, i.e., to receive this scholarship the GPA must be 3.50 or higher.

Undergraduate Degree GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 and less than 3.5 from a U.S. college or university that is regionally accredited or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. institution. The GPA used for this purpose will be the GPA the student earned from the institution that conferred their undergraduate degree. In addition, the GPA will not be rounded up, i.e., to receive this scholarship the GPA must be 3.0 or higher.
Educational Leadership Scholarship
US$1,500 per term
For applicants to the Educational Administration program or the Educational Supervision program. 3.00 GPA from Undergraduate or Graduate Coursework. Students will be automatically considered for this scholarship based on their GPA and do not need to apply separately for it.
