If numbers are your great passion, the MBA specialising in Data Analytics is the right choice for you. In this part-time degree programme, you will be trained as a data specialist and can then start your career in various industries, such as e-commerce, insurance or banking.

Admission requirements

Undergraduate academic requirements

  • A certified secondary education certificate, the entrance qualification for Universities/Universities of Applied Sciences or equal qualification and tertiary education certificates if applicable. School leaving certificates from outside Bavaria must be officially approved as being equivalent, where necessary.
  • Personal interview

    Applicants will be invited to an online admission interview (45-60 min, usually via Skype) with a member of the Student Advisory Service and/or a professor of the respective subject area.

Graduate academic requirements

  • 210 ECTS for admission to the 3-semester Master’s program with 90 ECTS or a Bachelor’s degree with 180 ECTS for admission to the 4-semester Master’s program with 120 ECTS.
  • Personal interview

    Applicants will be invited to an online admission interview (45-60 min, usually via Skype) with a member of the Student Advisory Service and/or a professor of the respective subject area.

Fees and funding

The Macromedia University scholarship program offers a few partial scholarships to support talented applicants to finance their programs. The criteria for inclusion in the program are grades at school and/or university and voluntary work for social causes.

This is because Macromedia University aspires not just to train its students on a professional level, but also to qualify and support them with regard to their personal development.

Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarships

Macromedia Scholarship (Need-Based Scholarship):

  • Amount

    Grant that covers between 10 and 50% of tuition fees

  • Requirements

    You need to have good grades and/or are especially talented and socially engaged. The Macromedia Scholarship is aimed at students in difficult financial situations.

Excellence Scholarship (Merit-Based Scholarship):

  • Amount

    Scholarship that covers between 10 and 50% of tuition fees

  • Requirements

    Grades average at least 1.5 and personally dedicated. The scholarship is initially awarded for one year and can be extended.
