Our Master's by Research in Computing and Mathematics combines taught courses with a major research element. It’s ideal for graduates wishing to apply advanced skills to industry-style projects.

This course allows you to follow a structured route into Computing and Mathematics research. For the taught element, you select from a wide range of modules appropriate to your individual research topic, with the guidance of your supervisor. The course is suited to students interested in a postgraduate research qualification and strengthening their insight into the mechanics of research in Computing and Mathematics.

Your research can cover a broad range of areas and you will benefit from one-to-one project supervision with specialist academics and strong links with industry. We've also invested heavily in extensive research facilities, which are available to you at our historic Greenwich Campus in London.

Fees and funding

For the majority of University of Greenwich programs, the fees for international students in the 2019-20 academic year are £13,000 per year for undergraduate courses and £13,500 - £14,500 per year for postgraduate taught courses.

    This bursary is worth £5,000 for a postgraduate student enrolled on MSc Water, Waste and Environmental Engineering and could offer you £5,000 during your studies. In order to apply, you should have received first-class honours or a 2:1 and be entering into MSc Water, Waste and Environmental Engineering at our Medway Campus.
