The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Program in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) offers students specialization in speech-language pathology, communication sciences, or audiology. This individualized, mentored, and interdisciplinary program is designed to provide a formal course of academic instruction and advanced research training in CSD aimed at developing leaders in research, teaching, and professional service. The mission of the PhD program is to prepare students for responsible and successful careers as scholars by enabling them to gain the necessary knowledge and skills in the CSD discipline. Graduates will be prepared for research, scientific writing, teaching and supervision/mentorship through pedagogy, mentorship, and internship activities. The student’s ability to engage in original research and scholarship is enhanced by coursework in experimental research design and statistics, as well as various out-of-department opportunities.

  • Completed secondary education with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 as calculated by the Office of International Admissions and Student Programs.
  • SAT(Optional only for scholarship) 10,000 - 2,000 with GPA 3.5. Also there are scholarships without SAT.

Postgraduate academic requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completion with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0, as calculated by the Office of International Admissions and Student Programs.
  • GMAT/GRE (Mandatory), 3 Recomendation lettets (it can be letters or via email - electronic), statement of purpoose, bank statement, Affidavit, copy of the passport.

Global Freshman Scholars The Global Freshman Scholars award is a ​competitive, merit-based ​scholarship, awarded to a limited number of well-qualified international students each year. ​This scholarship is renewable for up to four years​,​ or until a ​first​ bachelor's degree is earned, whichever comes first.​

Dr. Richard and Angela Carter GlobalUSA Endowed Scholarship

  • The Dr. Richard and Angela Carter Global USA Endowed Scholarship was established in 2017 for the purpose of providing a tuition scholarship to an incoming freshman international student with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference shall be given to students not already receiving institutional aid.
  • To ensure consideration for this opportunity, qualified students are required to complete the scholarship application in JagSPOT prior to the application deadline date.
