With a focus on key creative industries such as film, games, performing arts, and music, you’ll have the opportunity to tailor your studies to your own interests and career ambitions. The course is available full-time over one calendar year or part-time over two years, allowing flexibility for your personal and professional commitments. Throughout the course, you’ll gain industry-relevant skills in areas including finance, law, marketing, project and resource management, sustainability, and digital communications. You will also undertake advanced research into your specialist creative field and have the opportunity to complete a work placement within the industry. This hands-on experience ensures you develop the practical skills and connections needed to succeed.

Admission requirements

Undergraduate academic requirements

  • At BIMM Institute, most of our undergraduate performance degree courses require a minimum of 32 UCAS points or two A-Levels or equivalent
  • Non-performance degree courses require a minimum of 64 UCAS points or two A-Levels at grade C or equivalent
  • We accept other qualifications such as BTEC, International Baccalaureate Diplomas and Certificates and European Baccalaureate which are equivalent to UCAS tariff points.

Postgraduate academic requirements

For Postgraduate courses, we usually require a bachelor degree with a 2:2 or equivalent grade.

English proficiency

Undergraduate programs:

  • IELTS

    Min. 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in each element

  • TOEFL (iBT)

    Min. 72 overall with 18 in Reading, 17 in Writing, 17 in Listening and 20 in Speaking

  • PTE Academic

    Min. 50 overall with no less than 42 in each element

  • Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English (CAE)

    170 overall with 165 in each component

  • Trinity ISE 2

    Pass with Merit

Postgraduate programs:

  • IELTS

    Min 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in each element

  • TOEFL (iBT)

    Min. 83 overall with 19 in Reading, 24 in Writing, 20 in Listening and 20 in Speaking

Early Confirmation Scholarship

**Amount:** £2,000 **To be eligible for the early confirmation scholarship, you must:** - Be an overseas applicant ineligible for home fee status - Apply and receive an offer to study at BIMM Institute UK colleges from 2024/25 - Accept your offer - Pay your deposit on or before 15th June - The scholarship will automatically be deducted from your fees when you enrol
