We are all about the hands-on experience. What do we mean by that? We mean you won't just learn the theory in a classroom- you'll also get to practice on our high-tech aviation equipment. This aviation degree is built on the basics of the A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) curriculum. Our graduates are masters at welding, metalwork, reciprocating engines, turbine engines, propellers, fuel systems, electricity, machining, and more!

The Aviation Maintenance Science degree will train you to be a successful aircraft technician. Becoming successful in the field of aircraft maintenance requires both a knowledge of the fundamentals of aircraft systems and extensive technical training.

Funding

Undergraduate Academic Scholarships

- Awarded to students for academic excellence and achievement. These scholarships range from $10,000/year to $20,000/year. Academic scholarships are renewable for continuous full-time enrollment and maintenance of a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA at the end of each spring semester. Scholarship applications are not required. An academic scholarship will be awarded upon acceptance. - **Presidential Scholarship:** $20,000 per year - **Dean's Scholarship:** $17,000 per year - **Founder's Scholarship:** $14,000 per year - **Yellowjacket Award:** $12,000 per year

Manson Stockwell Graduate Scholar Award

- **Scholarship Amount:** 2/3 Tuition - **Award Criteria:** - Must have a bachelor's degree from LeTourneau University - Must be pursuing the nontraditional Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) master's degree offered through the School of Psychology and Counseling - Must be enrolled full-time (9 hours graduate) each semester at LeTourneau University and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater in the program - Must exhibit the core values of LeTourneau University, including character, service, honesty, integrity, scholarship, and a worldview that reflects the same (an essay is required as part of the application)
