Students that earn the AS-T in Agriculture Plant Science will complete lower-division major requirements for a baccalaureate degree in Agriculture Plant Science. The AS-T in Agriculture Plant Science is designated for students wanting an in-depth knowledge of the core agriculture plant science fundamentals emphasizing soil science, chemistry, economics, statistics, and plant science as they apply to agriculture plant science. This knowledge and skill set comprise the components necessary to work successfully within an industrial society and free enterprise system.
