Founded in 2006, MAU offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs that equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a competitive global business environment.
MAU aims to structure their programs to help students stay in school and succeed. They strive to inspire and develop students’ potential by offering a curriculum designed for commerce, technology, and entrepreneurship. They work diligently to support students throughout their academic journey – from the application process to graduation and beyond. Instructors are required to have recent field experience and training before joining. They share professional insights with our students that might otherwise take years to learn.
MAU is a university with an international, real-world approach to learning and dedicated faculty with industry experience. MAU offers financial aid and scholarships for those who qualify without entrance exams, as well as career development and job placement assistance after graduation.
MAU is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools & Colleges (ACCSC) and is the recipient of the 2024 School of Excellence Award. ACCSC is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education in Washington, DC. Millennia Atlantic University Alumni Scholarship
This scholarship program allows for the award of up to $3,000 to eligible MAU alumni who choose to enrol and are accepted into a degree program as a returning student. It is dedicated to the encouragement and development of current and future generations of business, accounting, health information and human resource professionals. This scholarship is designed to offer assistance to qualified and deserving alumni passionate about advancing their careers and education.
Emilia Tirado Undergraduate Scholarship
Need based financial scholarship that allows an award of up to 50% of tuition charges for semester. To apply, students must provide information regarding household income and submit a 500-800 word essay detailing why the scholarship should be granted.
Puro Maza Academic Scholarship
Available to undergraduate and postgraduate students, it is a partial scholarship based on merit for students that have achieved academic excellence at MAU. May award of up to fifty percent (50%) of tuition charges per semester. In order to qualify, the student must have already successfully completed at least one semester at MAU with a 3.40 CGPA at the undergraduate level or a 3.80 CGPA at the graduate level. To apply, a qualifying student must provide two letters of recommendation from a combination of former high school or other postsecondary institution faculty members, advisors or employers. Also, the student must prepare and submit an autobiographical five to eight hundred (500-800) word essay which details previous education, employment experience and career goals.
Millennial Scholarship for Master’s Level Latin American, Hispanic and Caribbean Students
need based financial scholarship provided for student applicants at the graduate level who have successfully graduated and obtained a bachelor's level degree or equivalent from a higher education institution in Latin America or the Caribbean, or who are Hispanic or of Hispanic descent. This scholarship allows for an award of up to fifty percent (50%) of a qualifying student's total tuition charges for the semester. Must provide household income information, proof of residency/ethnicity. A 500 - 800 word essay must also be submitted.
Millennia Atlantic University Athletic Scholarships
Offered to qualifying student athletes who have met with their coach of preferred athletic team and have been accepted for the team, be enrolled for minimum of 12 semester credits for undergraduates, or 9 credits for postgraduates. If students are issued an Athletic Scholarship, funds will be applied against their tuition charges but not fees.
Millennia Atlantic Masters Scholarship
Need based financial scholarship for new MAU master’s level program students. The scholarship allows for an award of up to fifty percent (50%) of a qualifying student’s total tuition charges for the semester. Must provide income information, submit letters of recommendation from two non relatives along with 500-800 word essay.

Each year, MAU welcomes students from all over the world to its campus. The University has a dedicated admissions team to help international students every step of the way.
While at MAU, students can choose to improve their English Language skills at the Face to Face Learning Center with the help of exceptionally-skilled instructors experienced in ESL teaching.
MAU has a number of men's and women's athletics teams for students to get involved in, including sports like soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and rugby.
To help students find suitable accommodation while studying at the University, MAU has an off-campus housing and referral program. Alternatively, the University partners with the American Homestay Network (AHN) to place students with carefully-screened and fully-trained American host families within 60 minutes of travel time by public transportation to campus.
