Study abroad at CEFAM

CEFAM is a French-American business school (Centre d’Etudes Franco-Américain de Management) located in Lyon, France offering dual business degrees taught 100% in English. Students spend the first 3 years on the CEFAM campus, and a fourth-year at one of our partner universities in the USA or Canada.

CEFAM's partners are Northeastern, Temple, Rider, Siena, Pace, and the University of New Brunswick (UNB). The CEFAM degree is a general International Management degree, and the US degree is in whichever major you choose from the CEFAM partner university.

The business school aims to educate future decision-makers and managers who will use their skills in international companies after graduation. The city of Lyon has become a major European hub for culture and commerce, and a top city for students, yet still has the feel of a smaller town in parts, making it perfect for students new to France.

What CEFAM says

  • Profile of Rachel Stowe
    Rachel Stowe
    Rachel Stowe says:

At CEFAM, the core of our instruction is globalizing the worldview of our students, for them to live an intercultural experience every day, professionally and personally, to become thriving international managers.

With a small student body in the student-centered city of Lyon, CEFAM international students integrate very quickly into the CEFAMily as well as their newfound home. The CEFAMily extends beyond our student body into our multinational faculty and staff who are at the ready to serve our students.

Small class sizes and one-on-one office hours allow for high-quality academic preparation, and international student services are available at all times, ensuring our students are receiving high-quality assistance. It is truly an ideal setting for students choosing to receive their education abroad.

CEFAM's dual degree program is invaluable. The opportunity to receive credentials both from Europe and North America in four years truly paves the way toward a global career.

With partners like Northeastern University, Temple University, Pace University, University of New Brunswick, Siena College, and Rider University, both the CEFAM and the partner degrees are highly regarded internationally. This unique academic path, at an incredibly reasonable cost, is what sets CEFAM apart.

Our international student services office is finely tailored to serve our students from the day of acceptance until they graduate. From the pre-arrival logistics of applying for a student visa and securing housing, to the on-the-ground support of opening a bank account and purchasing a transit pass, our coordinator is involved in every area the student needs. We also have student ambassadors ready to assist incoming students as they learn about their new community. In keeping with the American/Canadian university model, CEFAM includes extracurricular activities to offer opportunities to meet others to build social and professional networks. CEFAM has a 93% placement rate measured 3 months after graduation. CEFAM alumni work in Project Management, Fashion Marketing, Audit, Logistics, Finance, and the list goes on. Our alumni footprint is in over 60 countries, and our graduates maintain an incredibly strong database and network with both other CEFAM graduates as well as the graduates of the partner university they attended.
