Business management is a course with a lot of variation since we get to see all aspects of doing business. This includes: marketing, accounting, law, economics. You learn a lot from the lectures, however it is still recommended to study at home to understand the lectures better.

The program I'm currently enrolled in (international business management) has many interesting courses which help develop both the professional and personal skills. The lecturers are always ready to help and available for questions. They deliver all the information you need in an appropriate way and with concrete examples. Although the workload might seem too much sometimes, it's actually a great way to keep up with the classes and not miss out on the last thing we've studied. I particularly enjoy the teamwork which helps us link with students and build relationships.

The quality lectures are fair and cost of living in Belgium is overall high. But the tuition is fair.

What the experts say about business management in Belgium

    Carine Danau
    Carine Danau says:

Studying international business management in Belgium means you'll learn how to expand a business internationally using the most appropriate legal structures.

Belgium, and especially Antwerp, is a diverse and cosmopolitan environment. Antwerp is a melting pot of cultures where young people meet and work together for a sustainable society.

In the business law course I teach within IBM, you study law from a global perspective from a global perspective, students will learn how to interpret and apply legal principles in general. We improve the critical thinking skills of each of them during the course. Students will be able to use these skills later on to start researching the different topics once they are actively involved in a business.

As an international business management graduate, you'll be able to apply legal principles in a business from a global point of view.

  • Headshot of Pieter Wuyts
    Pieter Wuyts
    Pieter Wuyts says:

I teach the subject of Quantitative Business Techniques. Gather data, make calculations, analyze and make informed business decisions.

Quantitative Business Techniques takes the gut feeling out of business management and replaces it with a sound decision based on facts and figures. Mastering this skill allows you to make the right business decisions that will lead you quickly to your goals.

If you master Quantitative Techniques, then you master the ability to have a very objective look at business issues and challenges. You have the tools and manuals to come to the best decision that could have been made in that particular situation.

Antwerp is by far (I repeat) by far the most international city on earth. 180 nationalities, one of the biggest European ports, top-ranked university colleges, and a pulsating business environment and many many restaurants... and ideal soil to breed the best entrepreneurs.

Our entire society moves towards the growing use of data. Every job in business nowadays uses data to be more efficient.
