OCAD University (Ontario College of Art and Design University) is the largest and most comprehensive art, design, and media university in Canada. Since 1876, OCAD U has been dedicated to teaching art and design, and today it boasts a wide range of innovative programs students can study. There are programs available in the fields of digital media and design, sustainability, health and wellness, cultural diversity, and indigenous cultures.
The University’s cutting-edge campus provides all the facilities students need to thrive. There are several extensive libraries available, as well as several galleries and exhibition spaces that host national and international artists, as well as work by students and faculty. Students have access to modern studio spaces and equipment, as well as communal study spaces.

OCAD U's Undergraduate Scholarships recognize overall academic achievement by their overall average within their program major of study or by the highest grade in a specific course and are designed to encourage continued studies. They are given at the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year levels in Faculties of Art, Design and Liberal Arts & Sciences/School of Interdisciplinary Studies.
OCAD U's Undergraduate Awards recognize achievement in each program major at the fourth-year level normally through a juried competition at the end of each academic year. Awards are given as cash awards.
As an international student, you may be eligible to receive funding from this bursary.
This fund helps current undergraduate and postgraduate international students who are experiencing financial difficulties due to an unexpected situation beyond their control. These bursaries are short-term emergency solutions and are not meant to provide ongoing financial support. You may only receive one bursary per academic year.
