Northern Lights College (NLC) is a post-secondary education institution based in British Columbia, Canada and is known as B.C.’s Energy College. NLC has campus locations in Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort Nelson, Fort St. John, and Tumbler Ridge, along with access centers in Atlin, Dease Lake and Hudson’s Hope. Student housing is offered at their Dawson Creek and Fort St. John campuses.
NLC offers a range of programs in a number of areas including business management, trades and apprenticeships, clean energy technologies, oil and gas training, teacher training and practical nursing. You can earn a certificate, diploma or an associate's degree, and your education at NLC can help you proceed to further education at college or university level, or entering a specialized area of work.
NLC is developing an athletics and recreation program. In 2018, they launched a rodeo program and they are currently the only post-secondary institution in BC with a rodeo team.

At Northern Lights College, international students can study English as a Second Language (ESL), university transfer classes, and vocational and trades programs.
Their campuses have relaxed atmospheres, and NLC offers small class sizes which means each student can get the personal attention they need. The international education staff arrange activities for international students including tobogganing, bowling, basketball, camping and horseback riding.
Students can get involved in community events like Relay for Life or other fundraising activities, hosting luncheons or dances. Recreational opportunities are also available in community sports leagues, and in some intramural sports, including volleyball, basketball, soccer, and floor hockey.
