  The Gordon is one of the largest regional TAFEs in Victoria. We are government-owned and operated, so you can be confident you have invested in a quality, secure education. The Gordon has five main campus locations across Geelong and Wyndham, offering you convenience, affordable cost of living, and great lifestyle benefits. With easy public transport links, we are only one hour away from Melbourne.

  We focus on practical training and hands-on learning. Work placements and industry projects form a large part of our course content, giving you the practical experience you need to enter the workforce with confidence. All work placements are organized by The Gordon and are a great boost to your resume.

  Our teachers are industry-trained professionals who love their work and pass their passion onto their students. With an average of 15 to 22 students in each class, you will get lots of support and more contact time with your teacher.

  We are accredited and recognized by peak industry bodies including NEAS, the Australian Community Workers Association, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, and the Design Institute of Australia.

  The Gordon provides a wide range of student services to international students. These include Career assistance delivered by the on-site Skills and Jobs Centre, personal counseling, airport pick-up services, ongoing support from the friendly staff at The Gordon International office and learning supports, etc.

  All these are free services provided to international students. The Gordon also provides state-of-art facilities to students which include affordable on-campus accommodation, on-site libraries, free wi-fi, and access to Office 365 and cafeterias, etc.

Many of our diplomas and advanced diplomas offer pathways to a range of universities so you can gain two qualifications instead of one, save money and develop your practical skills before going onto theory-based coursework.
