UQ Vice-Chancellors Scholarships

Awarded to applicants who achieve a minimum ATAR of 99.90 (or equivalent):

Award Value - $12,000 per year, total value of up to $60,000 Duration - Up to 5 years Level - Undergraduate and any subsequent related postgraduate study, such as Honours

UQ Excellence Scholarships

Awarded to applicants who demonstrate outstanding academic, leadership and/or community service achievements during their senior secondary studies who aspire to study at The University of Queensland.

Applicants who achieve a minimum ATAR of 99.00 (or equivalent) will be considered for a UQ Excellence Scholarship:

  • Award Value - $6,000 per year, total value of up to $24,000
  • Duration - Up to 4 years
  • Level - Undergraduate and any subsequent related postgraduate study, such as Honours

UQ Merit Scholarships

Awarded to high achieving applicants who have demonstrated significant academic, leadership and/or community service achievements during Years 11 & 12.

Applicants who achieve a minimum ATAR of 95.00 (or equivalent) will be considered for a UQ Merit Scholarship:

  • Award Value - $6,000
  • Duration - First year of study
  • Level - Undergraduate study
