Aquaculture degrees abroad

Aquaculture describes the breeding and harvesting of seafood, as well as the sustainable management of aquatic environments. It’s a subject that blends elements of biology, life sciences, conservation, and biodiversity.

As an aquaculture student, you’ll study a wide range of aquatic organisms including fish, mollusks, and crustaceans. You’ll learn about the principles and processes of reproduction, and will understand how to create optimal conditions for aquatic farming.

As the global demand for seafood rises, aquaculturists are under increasing pressure to meet the need in a sustainable manner. By studying abroad, you’ll see how different nations are attempting to keep their aquatic environments protected, and the challenges they face in doing so.
